MAGAZINE CONCEPT
For over 36 years children from around the world have been gaining knowledge with Rolf Kauka’s “Bussi Bear” through playing games. It was the first children magazine to be educational in character. The little ones are fond of Bussi Bear and other characters, a puppy, a kitty and a mouse among them. In this monthly children magazine you can find wonderful stories, “Do It Yourself” sections, pictures intended for filling with colours, labyrinths, rhymes, interesting numeric games, ideas for preparing healthy food, interesting information about animals, illustrations of the seasons, and the children get help with learning first letters and basic vocabulary. The concept is created in a way that it encourages the children to draw, chop, play, “discover” letters and numbers with the little help of Bussi Bear, and the parents will be able to find out through play what their child’s thoughts are and how they can instigate his or her interests.

READERS’ PROFILE
It is intended for children aged three to nine who show interest in colours, forms and materials. They do researches on their own (make questions) about abstract notions, their mother tongue, numbers, develop logical thinking and ways of creative expression (drawing, colouring, chopping, making various items…) and make efforts at getting to know rules in the world surrounding us.
