Date and place of birth: July, 27th 1968, Bač, Vojvodina, Serbia

Family:
Mother: Lujza Čoban (1941), nee Tot, housewife
Father: Josip Čoban (1932), farmer
Sister: Lidija Ćulibrk (1963), nee Čoban, clinical psychologist, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Lepota i zdravlje”

Primary school education: "Vuk Karadžić", Bač

Secondary school education: Secondary school for economics “Dr. Radivoje Uvalić”, Bačka Palanka

University education: Faculty of Law, Novi Sad Entered University in 1988. Became senior undergraduate in 1993.

Professional career:

  • Worked as a correspondent from Novi Sad for the Belgrade newspaper “Večernje novosti”, Zagreb newspaper “Arena” and Sarajevo newspaper “Naši dani” (1990-1991). Editor-in-chief of the student magazine “Index” and of the independent magazine “Nezavisni index” (1992).
  • Editor-in-chief of the magazine “Svet”, from 1993 to 2005.
  • Today President of the company “Color Press Group”, the biggest publishing house in all ex-Yugoslavia, with 78 editions (Svet, Lepota i zdravlje, CKM, Bravo, JOY, Auto Start, Metal Hammer, TV Novele, Alan Ford, PC Magazin, Bratz, Girl Talk...), over 300 employees and branches in 7 countries.

Hobbies: Skiing, tennis, travels, cycling, movies
